Crewe is a lively town in Cheshire best known as a large railway junction and the home of Rolls Royce (from 1946 - 2002) and Bentley motor car production.
Cheshire itself is a historic and beautiful county. It's home to the ancient City of Chester and borders Wales on one side and the Peak district on the other. Its Northern border takes you into Greater Manchester and Merseyside with Staffordshire and Shropshire to the south.
The rural location and the county's proximity to Wales and the Peak District mean some of Britain's finest countryside is on the doorstep. In contrast the influential cities of Liverpool and Manchester are less than an hour away and easily accessible by road and public transport. The county is great for families with excellent schools and lots to do.
