Trust To Hold Event On Winter Pressures

As its next Members’ event, MCHFT will shortly be hosting a talk on winter pressures.

Within the NHS, the added pressures that winter and the cold weather bring create considerable challenges for healthcare staff throughout the country.

The Trust’s ‘Focus on Winter Pressures’ talk, which takes place on Friday 6 November, has been organised for Members to find out more about these pressures and what arrangements local hospitals have in place.

The presentation is being led by Jonathan O’Brien, Deputy Chief Operating Officer, and Dr David Matthews, a Consultant and Clinical Lead within the Medicine and Emergency Care Division, and will also feature a question and answer session.

The event, between 2pm and 3.30pm, will take place in the Postgraduate Medical Centre’s Seminar Room at Leighton Hospital, Crewe.

Places are limited and must be booked in advance by contacting the Membership Office on 01270 612365.

Members of the public are also welcome to call the office to become a free Member of the Trust and then register for the talk.
