Call For Exhibitors

The NHS Trust behind Crewe’s Leighton Hospital is calling for local health and wellbeing groups to take part in an annual public event.

Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (MCHFT), which also manages Victoria Infirmary in Northwich and Elmhurst Intermediate Care Centre in Winsford, will be holding its Annual Members’ Meeting on Friday 27 September.

The event will take place at Crewe Lifestyle Centre and aims to provide the public with an update on the progress of the Trust, as well as upcoming challenges and opportunities it is likely to face in the coming 12 months.

The day will start with an interactive health and wellbeing fair held in collaboration with Everybody Sport and Recreation, a registered health and wellbeing charity which aims to improve people’s lives through physical activity and healthy recreation, and will feature a number of health-related charities, organisations and stalls.

Dennis Dunn, Chairman of MCHFT, said: “We are interested in hearing from any local health and wellbeing-related groups who would be interested in taking part in the fair so that, together, we can offer our population a comprehensive insight into the help, advice and support that is available in the area.

“We would also like to encourage individuals and families to attend the free event – as well as being an opportunity to receive health and wellbeing information, it promises to be a fun and informative morning.”

Those already confirmed to attend include Age UK Cheshire, One You, Body Positive, Healthwatch, Cheshire Fire and Rescue and Everybody Sport and Recreation. A number of divisions and departments from Leighton Hospital will also be holding displays.

The health and wellbeing fair will run from 10am – 1pm with the Annual Members’ Meeting, which will include refreshments, starting at 12.30pm.

If you are interested in exhibiting at the event please contact 01270 612365 or email foundation.trust@mcht.nhs.uk by Friday 6 September.
