Phil Malam, Leighton Hospital’s longest serving member of staff

Phil Malam, aged 69 years old, remembers the day that HRH Queen Elizabeth II visited to officially open the doors of Leighton Hospital. It was just a few days after the 19-year-old joined to work as a porter on 23rd April 1972.

Youngsters design Leighton Hospital’s 50th Birthday Cake!
