Hospital needs more therapy dogs to support patients’ wellbeing

Mid Cheshire Hospitals is urging dog owners to sign up for a scheme that allows therapy pets to visit its patients. The Trust wants to encourage more people to become a volunteer and bring their amazing animals to Leighton Hospital in Crewe and Elmhurst Intermediate Care Centre in Winsford.

Professor Carolyn Wilkins, OBE to stand down as chair of Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

Professor Carolyn Wilkins has today formally announced her decision to stand down from her role as Trust Chair. Carolyn, who joined Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust on 3 July, 2023 will stand down with immediate effect to enable her to focus on her family.
