Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has been awarded a level 2 accreditation by the National Finance Leadership Council, as part of the Future-Focused Finance Towards Excellence Accreditation process.
The Future-focused Finance towards Excellence Accreditation process is designed to allow the Finance Leadership Council (FLC) to give due recognition to organisations that have the very best finance skills development culture and practices in place.
There are three levels, each designed to reflect the continuous development of our finance function and recognise that the highest standards of financial competence and commitment to skills development are in place. A level 2 accreditation, which lasts for three years, demonstrates a high level of performance.
Russ Favager, Interim Chief Executive at Mid Cheshire, said: “I am delighted the Trust has received this accreditation and would like to congratulate our fantastic finance team for this achievement.
“This recognition showcases that our finance function has the best processes and skills development in place, in order to deliver a high-quality financial service. The team make a valuable contribution to the Trust, often going above and beyond with positive attitude and energy."
Ros Davies, Interim Director of Finance, said: "I am proud of what the finance team has achieved throughout this accreditation and for their ongoing hard work and commitment in supporting the Trust. We will continue our journey to develop and aspire to achieve the level 3 accreditation in the future.”
