The Royal College of Nursing (RCN) has confirmed that members at a number of Cheshire and Merseyside NHS organisations plan to join strike action on both Thursday, December 15th and Tuesday, December 20th 2022.
Mid Cheshire Hospitals is not affected by the industrial action. If you have an appointment at the Trust, please attend as normal.
Separately, GMB, Unison and Unite have confirmed that members at North West Ambulance Service plan to join strike action, with staffing due to be affected on Wednesday, December 21st and Wednesday, December 28th 2022.
NHS pay is a matter for the Government and trade unions.
The NHS has tried and tested plans in place to mitigate risks to patient safety and manage any disruption, including industrial action.
