Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has been awarded Silver under the Ministry of Defence (MOD) Employer Recognition Scheme for its support to Defence and the wider Armed Forces community.
The award reflects the Trust’s support for the MOD’s People objectives, including the employment of serving and former members of the Armed Forces community, as well as demonstrating flexibility towards training and mobilisation commitments for both Reservists and Cadet Force Adult Volunteers.
Jacqui Broomhall, Corporate Social Responsibilities and Workforce Supply Lead said:
"It’s been a fantastic journey over the last 11 months from signing the covenant, to receiving our Bronze and now Silver Employers' Recognition Awards. While this achievement is a clear reflection of the Trust’s support the Armed forces, we will continue to strive and adapt to better accommodate the Armed Forces community, enabling them to become part of our workforce."
