We’re pleased to confirm that the Trust’s visiting hours, where loved ones can visit patients, have been extended over the upcoming bank holidays.
Visiting hours for adult inpatients on Christmas Day (25th Dec), Boxing Day (26th Dec) and New Years’ Day (1st Jan) will be between 11am and 8pm.
Exceptions to our visiting policy will remain in place which allow the following (immediate family members or carers only):
- Visiting a patient receiving end-of-life care in hospital
- Visiting is also permitted if you are supporting someone with a mental health issue such as dementia, a learning disability or autism where not being present would cause the patient to be distressed.
Please note that Paediatrics and NICU have specific visiting hours and conditions which will remain unchanged. If you’re unsure, please contact the relevant department. Contact details can be found here.
