Hospital building goes blue to support antibiotics awareness

The Macmillan Cancer Unit at Leighton Hospital turned blue this week in support of a campaign to promote antibiotics awareness. Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust staff met at the site in Crewe, which is being illuminated during the evenings, to mark World AMR Awareness Week (WAAW).

NHS Industrial Action

Hospital consultants and Junior Doctors will be taking a further round of strike action in October on the same days. Consultants and Junior Doctors will strike for 72 hours from 7:00 Monday 2 October to 7:00 on Thursday 5 October.
