Hiya
My name is Alex and I am a colorectal Cancer support worker at Leighton,
I have worked at Leighton for past 4 years before joining the Colorectal team I worked on the surgical ward 28 as a Housekeeper.
The thing I most enjoyed about my role was integrating with patients daily being a support for them whether it be for an practical reason or emotional support and being a positive part of their Hospital Journey.
Before I worked at the NHS I worked in Customer facing roles for past 15 years , I love working for the NHS and being a part of Patients journey from start to finish being there to offer support and kindness as and when needed.
