Colorectal Consultant
Bio
I am a consultant colorectal surgeon since 2018 and my main interests are minimal access (Laparoscopic, endoscopic, TEMS, TEO) colorectal surgery. This includes benign as well cancer related surgery. I am passionate about emergency general surgery, teaching, training and research. I am clinical lead for quality improvement and clinical governance.
I graduated from University of Health sciences Lahore, Pakistan in 2005. I finished my training in general and colorectal surgery in 2017 and completed the fellowship in Trans-anal Minimally Invasive Surgery (TEMS) from Surrey. I completed the prestigious international fellowship in Trans-anal Total Mesorectal Excision (TATME) from Bordeaux, France before starting as consultant surgeon.
