Bio
Mrs Bruce qualified from Manchester Medical School in 1997 and trained as a surgeon in the North West. She completed the prestigious Ethicon Laparoscopic Colorectal Fellowship in Leeds before stating here as a Consultant Colorectal Surgeon in 2011. As well as Colorectal Cancer Surgery, Mrs Bruce undertakes Pelvic Floor surgery helping people with faecal incontinence and difficulties passing stool. She is passionate about supporting patients and their families throughout the journey from diagnosis to surgery. Her other great interest is teaching and the education of the next generation of surgeons. She is currently the Training Programme Director for Higher Surgical training in Cheshire and Mersey.
