Job Title
Cancer Pathway Coordinator.
The multidisciplinary team (MDT) consist of surgeons, radiologists, histopathologists, oncologists, clinical nurse specialists, allied health professionals, and a Cancer Pathway Coordinator. The team meets weekly to discuss patients and contribute independently to the diagnostic and treatment decisions about the patient.
The Cancer Pathway Coordinator is responsible for collating the necessary information for each patient to be presented at the MDT meeting and recording the outcome, as well as managing and tracking the patient against the National Cancer Waiting Times Standards.
