Colorectal Cancer Support Worker
Bio
I joined MCHT in 2012 after working as a domiciliary care worker.
My first role was as a Health Care Assistant on the female and gynaecology ward where I worked for 5 years.
I enjoyed working with cancer patients so I applied for a job in the Macmillan Cancer Centre as a HCA which I fortunately got and started in 2017.
This role involved working in the clinics and also in the chemotherapy unit. I gained a lot of experience in oncology which helped me gain my recent job as a Colorectal Cancer Support Worker.
