We have created a graduated approach for professionals supporting early years (0-5 year olds) children in Cheshire East.
Whether you're part of the Starting Well Team, school based, a nursery or other early years care setting, this document shows the 3 stages of support:
Stage 1: General support to help a child to develop their speech, language and communication
Stage 2: Signposting for parents/carers, implement targeted interventions
Stage 3: Consider a referral to specialists
