The Gynaecology Outpatient Department provides a comprehensive range of Gynaecology Services. In addition to the general Gynaecology Clinics there are specialist clinics which include:
- Gynaecology Oncology
- Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit
- Colposcopy
- Fertility
- Urogynaecology
- Family Planning
- Gynaecology Ambulatory Care Unit
Outpatient Hysteroscopy and minor procedure clinics are able to offer investigation and possible treatment enabling a reduction in inpatient stay.
Some of these services are also provided at Victoria Infirmary, Northwich.
As well as Consultant Led Clinics, our Nurse Specialists also run many of the clinicical sessions and procedures.
Any procedure that cannot be carried out in the Gynaecology Outpatients Department will be performed in either the Treatment Centre as a day case, or main theatres and a subsequent admission to the General Surgery/Gynaecology Ward.
