The Fertility Clinic at Mid Cheshire Hospital provides assessment for couples who have difficulty in conceiving and offers individualised treatments according to their needs.
We offer a full range of investigations including blood tests, semen analysis, ovarian reserve testing (on a self fund basis), tubal patency testing, (laparoscopy, Hycosy) as well as laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery. Treatments offered include ovulation induction with follicle tracking and assisted conception.
Some treatments are offered in partnership with The Hewitt Centre for Reproductive Medicine based at Liverpool Women’s Hospital. Eligibility for NHS fertility treatments is in accordance with the local CCG policies on the provision of fertility services.
Specialised Andrology support is provided through the Hewitt Centre. The clinic is affiliated and supports the Fertility Network UK. The clinic is registered with the British Fertility Society as an accredited centre for the training of Pelvic Ultrasound.

- Tuba patency testing
- Laparoscopy and dye test under general anaesthetic
- Anti Mullerian hormone testing (on a self-fund basis)
Couples are then followed up and treatment options are discussed and commenced.
In vitro fertilization (IVF) referral to The Hewitt Centre at Knutsford and Liverpool site are available for both NHS and self funded IVF / Intracytoplasmic sperm injections (ICSI)
How to access the service
Patients can be referred to the Fertility Clinic by their General Practitioner. Self referrals are not accepted.
